Approach (地澤臨, Hexagram 19) is the 19th of the 64 hexagrams in the I-Ching. It consists of the upper trigram Kūn (Earth) (坤, Thổ) over the lower trigram Duì (Lake) (兌, Kim). Approach of spring — joyful advance. But be aware: the eighth month brings reversal.

Approach has supreme success. Perseverance furthers. When the eighth month comes, there will be misfortune.
