Increase (風雷益, Hexagram 42) is the 42nd of the 64 hexagrams in the I-Ching. It consists of the upper trigram Xùn (Wind) (巽, Mộc) over the lower trigram Zhèn (Thunder) (震, Mộc). Increase from above to below. Time for great undertakings, like crossing rivers.
Judgment (Thoán từ)
Increase. It furthers one to undertake something. It furthers one to cross the great water.

Wind and thunder: the image of Increase. Thus the superior man: if he sees good, he imitates it; if he has faults, he rids himself of them.

Line 1 yang: It furthers one to accomplish great deeds. Supreme good fortune. No blame.

Line 2 yin: Someone does indeed increase him; ten pairs of tortoises cannot oppose it. Constant perseverance brings good fortune. The king presents him before God. Good fortune.
