Privacy Policy — Slydo

Last updated: 2026-06-13

Introduction

Maivika ("we", "us") publishes Slydo, a slide block puzzle game for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it when you play Slydo. The game requires no account or sign-in.

Information we collect

Anonymous identifier: only when you make an in-app purchase, we create an anonymous ID (Firebase Anonymous Auth) to validate the transaction and store your entitlements (ads removed, unlocked themes) for restore. This ID is not linked to your real identity.

Usage data: anonymous analytics (Firebase Analytics) such as level start/win/fail events, to improve the game.

Crash reports: if the game crashes, Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports with basic device info (model, OS version) so we can fix bugs.

Advertising identifiers: the game shows Google AdMob ads; AdMob may use device/advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads.

In-app purchases: transactions are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do NOT receive or store card details; we only receive a transaction receipt to validate and grant items.

On-device data: coins, settings, progress, stars, and purchased items are stored locally on your device. Entitlements (ads removed, themes) are also stored with your anonymous ID for cross-device restore and anti-fraud.

How we use your data

To validate purchases (server-side anti-fraud) and restore entitlements on a new device.

To display ads so the game can remain free.

For anonymous analytics and crash reports to understand usage and fix bugs.

Advertising & tracking (ATT)

The game uses Google AdMob to display ads (a banner and voluntary rewarded ads). AdMob and its partners may use advertising identifiers and cookies to serve, personalize, and measure ads. Learn how Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

On iOS we will ask for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) before using identifiers to show personalized ads. If you decline, you can still play fully and will see non-personalized ads only.

You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ad Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), or reset/delete your Advertising ID in your Android/iOS device settings.

You may also purchase the "Remove Ads" item to remove all advertising.

Third parties

Google Firebase (Anonymous Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config).

Google AdMob (advertising).

Apple App Store / Google Play (payment processing).

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data retention & deletion

Purchase entitlements (with the anonymous ID) are retained until you request deletion.

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data on your device.

To request deletion of data tied to your anonymous ID, email [email protected]. We process requests within 30 days.

Children

The game is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect your data (encryption in transit, server-side transaction validation). However, no system is completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. EU/EEA under GDPR, California under CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, and to opt out of personalized ads. To exercise these rights, email [email protected].

We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with its update date.
